It is my privilege as Headteacher to extend a warm welcome to the Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre website. As you will quickly see from the site, our school not only strives for high standards, but is also a very caring community. I do hope that by browsing the information and photographs you gain some appreciation of the traditional foundations of the school and the thoroughly modern approach we take to drive our effective learning environment.

There is something rather special about our school. Everyone here feels important and valued no matter what role they play. Also, we are keen to draw your attention to the strong relationship that exists between students and staff.

We believe in placing the student at the centre of their own education and that learning is a life-long experience. Students are encouraged to take some responsibility for their own learning, be independent and to support others in their efforts.

Together, as a learning community, we will continue to set and achieve the high standards Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre is famous for, whilst producing well balanced, successful and happy citizens of tomorrow.
