The majority of Year 13 is devoted to designing,making & evaluating a product of the students choice. The work covered in Year 12 provides the foundation for this. The students shows their design thinking in a 40 - 50 slide "Powerpoint" e-folio that uses digital images, video, audio (and as you can see below ),2D & 3D CAD work to show how the final design has developed.Students then make (in the most appropriate Resistant Material) a full working prototype of their design.Click here to open the detailed course outline. A two and a half hour design based examination, the solution to which is worked on A3 paper as a combination of sketches and annotation.
