In Years 10 and 11 students are allocated 3 55 minute MFL periods.

In Years 10 and 11 pupils are taught in a mixed ability set.

Whenever possible, every effort is made to maintain continuity of teaching in Years 10 and 11 when pupils are firmly committed to their GCSE course.

All German students take the OCR GCSE.
