STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS 2009-10

Here is the list of achievements we recorded for 2009-10:

Emilia Bianco Y12 represented Great Britain at the Cup of Europe Artistic roller skating competition October 2009, and in the World Championships in Freiburg Germany in November.

Sophie Rabey Yr 12 was selected to represent The Channel Islands in the British Isles under 18 Bowls Competition in Belfast.

Adam Harvey Y12 competed in the world surf-kayaking championship and won the junior title.

Lucy Ozard Y9 represented Great Britain in Artistic Roller Skating in Portugal in October 2009.

Heather Woodford Y9 represented the Guernsey Majorettes in a National Competition in October 2009.

Georgette Fletcher Y7 was chosen to play a kitten in the Cats Musical in Guernsey October 2009.

Freddie Bates Y10 and Elliot Bates Y12 represented Guernsey at motocross in the Jersey Two Day Festival of Motocross in September 2009.

Bobbie Burnard Y9 qualified for semi finals of the National Junior Dog Handling Championships in Richmond in September 2009.

Alex Dekker Y9 competed in the National Interclub Competition in September 2009.

Sam Van de Velde competed in a sailing regatta in Jersey.

Hannah Dyke participated in a Skating competition in Maidstone.

Caitlin McNichol was selected to represent Great Britain in the Cup of Europe Roller Skating Championships in Portugal.

Pierce Rogan Y9 was chosen to play a kitten in the Cats Musical in Guernsey October 2009.

Lily-Mae Trenchard Y7 chosen to participate in the Musical Cats in Guernsey.

Leon Massey Y11 performed with the Guernsey Scout Band in a national competition in Manchester.

Phoebe Lewis Y7 attended the Optimist sailing regatta in Rutland.

Poppy Rickards Y8 attended the Optimist sailing regatta in Rutland.

Lucy Robinson Y9 selected to perform in the musical Cats in Guernsey.

Brendan Chapman Y7 represented Guernsey in the Swimming Club gala in Jersey October 2009.

Luke Winberg Y9 competed in Jersey for the Tigers Swim Meet October 2009.

William Mansell Year 8 and Oliver Mansell Year 7 competed in a swimming competition in Jersey.

Sam Van de Velde Y10 attended a sailing championship in England during October 2009.

Cameron Osborne-Burns nominated to receive the Teddy Odoire Trophy of Overall Achievement in St Anne’s Primary School.

Jamie Salmon competed in a swimming Gala in Jersey.

Rory Chamberlain competed in a swimming Gala in Jersey.

Lucie Shier, Lucy Robinson, Emma Robinson, Gabriella Shier, Joanna Nichols, Emma Le Prevost took part in a Classical Greek Dance performance for the Chinese Ambassador @ Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts in November 2009.

Chloe Dyke Year 13 placed 7th in the Roller Skating Cup of Europe in October and was chosen to represent Great Britain in the World Championships for Roller Skating in Freiburg Germany in November.

Claudia Cosgrove competed with the Guernsey Cheerleading Squad in Brighton.

Poppy Rickards invited to join the UK National Development Squad sailing her optimist dinghy in November.

Joshua Stacey played table tennis for Guernsey in Portugal in December.

Chloe Dyke came 6th in the Artistic Figure Roller Skating Championship in Frieberg, Germany.

Joshua Gabriel nominated and finalist for the ‘Jan Renouf Memorial Award’ for an ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Community.’

Lucy Le Page was nominated, finalist and winner of the ‘Jan Renouf Memorial Award’ for an ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Community.’

Graham Durham nominated for the The Bobby Le Vasseur Memorial Award for ‘Dedicated Service.’

Jordan Solway and Tom Honour were entered for the Rotary Young Chef of the Year award. Tom was placed third.

Paige Bewey, Hannah Archard, Glaudia Cosgrove and Kiana Crowson entered the British Cheerleading Association National Championship in Brighton and the team placed 3rd.

Harry Martel 11.3 was selected to play for Hampshire at squash at the end of January 2010.

Luke Winberg took part in the Channel Island Swimming Championships in Jersey in January 2010.

William and Oliver Mansell swam in the Channel Islands Championships in Jersey in January 2010.

Daniel Brittain took part in the Channel Island Swimming Championships in Jersey in January 2010.

Jamie Salmon took part in the Channel Island Swimming Championships in Jersey in January 2010.

Rory Chamberlain took part in the Channel Island Swimming Championships in Jersey in January 2010.

Luke Archard played in Jersey Junior Open Badminton Tournament January 2010.

Kasey Watson competed in kart racing in the UK March, April and May 2010.

Georgina Denton competed in Exeter in the CI under 18 tennis tournament in February.

Joshua Stacey represented Guernsey in the annual Junior & Cadet Table Tennis Six Nationals Tournament in Scotland March 2010.

Jay Mason took part in a swimming competition in the UK – with Guernsey Swimming Club May 2010
