HINGY'S HAIRLESS HEROICS
Harry John Ingrouille, year 12, (or Hingy as many of you may know him) is a bit of a legend amongst students and teachers alike!

BEFORE AFTER
On Sunday 26th September, Hingy increased his already hefty reputation with an act of true selflessness, shaving off his beloved dark locks for a motive that is very close to his loving heart.
Watching him do this was hil-hair-rious! It was certainly worth the journey to the Rovers clubhouse at Port Soif, where we arrived just minutes before it began. It was certainly a close shave! But we managed to get there in time to experience the hair-raising occasion. Well, not for Hingy!
Many people turned out to show their support, or, as we did, to mock him in jest and enjoy the occasion. It was virtually impossible not to be bald over by such bravery.
But in all seriousness, such an act epitomises commitment to a cause and a determination to help others. Harry’s amazing act helped to raise more than £800 for the Southampton Hospital cancer ward.
We approached some of the spectators for their views on Hingy’s head shave. One of the people we asked was Tom Henry, who responded with great enthusiasm, describing him as a ‘legend’.
Liam Scholey summed up the general mood of the day in his words of wisdom ‘What a guy!’
