Post 16 INFORMATION
Post 16 Interviews
All prospective students will be expected to have an interview with a member of the Sixth Form Team during the first half of the Spring Term. At the High Schools these interviews will be organised through the Careers Teacher. All other interviews should be arranged directly by contacting the Sixth Form Centre at the school. The purpose of the interviews is to help students explore the opportunities available to them and consider possible subject choices.
Post 16 Evening at The Sixth Form Centre
The Sixth Form Centre at Guernsey Grammar School holds a Post 16 Evening in January each year. This year it takes place on 26th January 2012. The evening provides an opportunity for potential students and their families to visit the Sixth Form Centre and speak directly to teachers and current students about the subjects which are of interest to them. There will be a presentation in the school hall and staff from all A Level subjects will be available to answer any questions in addition to Careers Advisors and members of the Sixth Form Team.
