THE YEAR 6 OPEN EVENING
The Open Evening at the end of September each year gives Year 6 parents and students the opportunity to gain an impression of the life and learning of this school, and of secondary education in general, to see our facilities and resources and to meet some of the staff and students who work here.
In view of the large numbers of parents and their children who attend this event, we have arranged two groups by Primary School who will follow the same programme but at different times. Our intention is to make the visit as pleasant, informative and smooth as possible.
The main focus of the displays is to show the work of Years 7-9. The staff and students are here to help you and they will welcome your questions.
This Booklet contains a summary of some of the essential features of Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre and we would encourage you to read this later at your leisure as additional information.
